I've been seeing Gordy for over 20 years, and I cannot imagine going to anyone else. He listens to my own ideas and offers suggestions without ever being condescending or arrogant. I love the atmosphere at Portfolio's, and the friendliness of everyone who works there. Truly a great place.
I wish I could give this place 0 stars. I have been going here to get my hair cut here for the last year. I like them so much I reserved them to do the hair for my wedding in July. Today, I called the salon to ask about an upcoming appointment and was told that my stylist no longer works at the salon and that they can no longer do the hair for our party. NO ONE called me after she left to alert me of the change so that I could make new plans. With less than 2 months to go until our wedding, it has been impossible finding a replacement. I couldn't even get the owner of the salon to call me and apologize. This is completely unacceptable and very frustrating for a customer who previously supported this salon. You should not treat your customers this way, especially for such an important life event.
Stopped on my way home. They fit me in right away. Pampered me and gave me a great cut.
smells like an Aveda salon when you walk in. Very friendly staff. The actual service can take a while, but I think it's because they always want to make sure to do a top-notch job.
