I used to go to this shop often years ago and recently moved back into town and was disappointed when I went back. I stopped by the first time 15 minutes before closing time (I do understand that it was the end of the day). I got out of my car and looked at a truck on the lot. The salesman was 10 feet away looking out the window and never bothered to come out. The next morning I asked my wife to stop out to look at the truck. She said the salesman Colin never took his feet off his desk and when she asked to look at it he said "The keys are in it if you'd like to take it for a spin". The guy didn't even walk over to the vehicle. I stopped by that afternoon and drive the vehicle. Reluctantly (because of service) I made a reasonable offer on the truck. The salesman said that they like having the truck around the shop for running errands and that he would talk to Eric (the owner) and get back to me. The guy didn't write down my number till I was leaving and reminded him he would need it to call me back (which he never did. The good part about the experience is that he turned me onto a great website that they use. The next day I got a newer truck with the same make/model less miles and more options for the same price I offered Boalsburg Auto Sales.
I've had only good experiences at Boalsburg Car Company. They do about 80% of all the work on my 2 cars. I'v e recommended them to at least 2 other people at work who now use them regularly.
Eric and Jeff and the the guys are super friendly, knowledgable and will be honest about the work you need and make thing right if you're not satisfied.
They have recently expanded and now have 3 service bays in the back. Additionally they run a very clean shop and the decor in the front office is in keeping with traditional old fashioned service stations yet with a modern touch.
