Another subcontracted crew who did an phenomenal job was Walter and Bill, the father and son team who did all the concrete work for the actual sidewalks. Positive perfection and very meticulous about their finished product. We also had a chance to chat with them a few times on one or two of their breaks. Great, friendly guys. It is obvious that Landserv only subcontracts out to the BEST of the best, and that alone speaks volumes for this company.

On Landserv’s crew, everyone knows how to do every job and they just jump in and do it. I saw Tyler (supervisor) holding traffic signs. He raked soil at my house to plant grass and picked up the rocks. Brandon got into the skid loader and moved dirt, etc. Matt ALWAYS had the most contagious laugh no matter if it was 92 degrees and humid or if it was pouring down rain. This is the kind of crew that Landserv employs and sends to YOUR home or business to create a classic new look to your tired old landscape.
My husband and I came to know the small crew of Tyler Anderson (who was the project supervisor), Brandon Martin and Matt Mundy quite well, often making them fresh brewed iced tea, handing them a bottle of ice cold water and enjoying 10-15 minutes of friendly conversation when they needed a break from the heat. We were positively in awe of the masterpiece they created for a sidewalk which started from broken clumps of slate (or in our case, none at all) to beautiful bright white concrete sections of sidewalk to improve the value of homes and make it safe to walk along our street for the first time ever. Our home was one of the ones far west, so we never had a sidewalk, and it is amazing to sit and watch how traveled it is by pedestrians already!

We were extremely satisfied in every way with Landserv. Everything was top notch, from our first meeting with Evan, working with his professional crew, until the project's completion.
We selected Lanserv this summer to put in a cement driveway that was on a slope and needed lots of drainage integrated with the driveway. We also had them do a lot of brick paver work, retaining walls, etc...
I was fortunate enough to watch most of the project happen in front of my house and the one on each side because I am a stay at home wife.

We would be remiss to not mention Danny Dolan, the subcontracted heavy equipment operator for the job. I never saw that man without a smile on his face. He worked those huge pieces of equipment like you or I would tie our shoes. His precision was amazing. I should say the same for Tyler. They both maneuvered the buckets of those Bobcats/skid loaders within an inch of freshly poured concrete sidewalk.
Landserv, Inc. did an amazing job with our front yard, which needed a ton of work, including a new driveway, front patio and landscaping. Additionally, they replaced my sewer line which was 90% blocked. The whole time, they were professional and easy to work with. I recommend them every chance I get.
To give you an example of satisfaction being their ultimate goal, Tyler drove up and down the street several times when the project was at or just near completion, making sure the job met his perfection. He stopped and knocked on my door and asked me if I was 100% satisfied or if there was anything he could do to make me happier. I told him of course not, we were more than satisfied with their work and looked forward to the new grass and loved the look with the sidewalk and all.
There were days the crew of three spent 12 hours here working so they would be ready for the concrete crew or the paving crew the following day, no matter what it took to meet the deadline. Safety was always top priority, and Tyler was here more than one time on a Saturday or at 8:00 p.m. checking to be sure all was properly secure.
Landserv recently completed an extensive summer-long sidewalk installation project for the street I live on in Centre Hall. They removed and replaced old dangerous sidewalks and installed new sidewalks where there never were any to the west borough line. The pride they take in their work is beyond prodigious. They pay the utmost attention to every detail. The final project can be seen along West Church Street in Centre Hall, PA. All properties were returned to their original lay of the land with some properties even requiring French drains and substantial grading for water runoff purposes (our house was one of those).
